Lon is a security visionary and industry leader with more than 20 years of experience protecting people from physical and online threats.
His accomplishments span both corporate and entrepreneurial domains, including leadership roles in crisis management, insider threat prevention, and data breach response at Blue Cross (MN) and the Global Security team at Target Corp. As founder of White Noise Security Consulting, Lon has spent the past 15 years protecting at-risk communities nationwide—raising more than $3M in federal homeland security grant awards, training thousands in emergency preparedness, testifying before lawmakers on hate crime prevention, and serving on the White House Advisory Council on Fraud & Counterfeit Prevention.
Lon holds a B.A. in Communications & Business from Drake University and carries multiple top-tier accreditations, including as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), the highest credential in the security field.
Now, he’s focused on his most ambitious mission yet: defending the nation’s most vulnerable from the rising threat of digital exploitation.
