Background
Matthew Brown is the President of InfraGard San Diego, bringing more than three decades of experience in national security, counterterrorism, and critical-infrastructure protection. Prior to leading InfraGard, he served as a Supervisory Special Agent with the FBI for 23 years, directing international counterterrorism operations, mentoring Afghan law enforcement, and supporting serial-crime behavioral analysis.
He later managed homeland security programs for the San Diego Unified Port District and served as a Director for the Anti-Defamation League’s Western Division, overseeing incident response and law-enforcement partnerships.
Matthew is recognized for his lifelong commitment to public safety, interagency collaboration, and combating extremism.
